ReplyDeleteThis is definitely an interesting tool. The ability to write organically, without worrying about editing, might offer more creative content.
ReplyDeleteOf course, we well know that Microsoft Word, some email services and now some web browsers immediately notify you of a spelling or grammar error, with that annoying and alarming red line (for spelling) or green line (for grammar).
The most serious setting, according to the blog, begins to delete your writing when you stop. How interesting that would be if we were all trained to deal with that on a regular basis. You have to keep going, or you will lose your progress so far.
Would that make us more creative writers? Would our attention span be forced to last longer? I think yes for both questions.
I tried this program and did not like it. I think my world would actually have to be ending to keep me from pausing. A blinking red screen was non threatening.
